moved my ISA and pension to Hargreaves Lansdown because I wanted a clearer view of my investments. Having everything in one place has made it much easier to see how my portfolio is performing and where I may be too heavily exposed.
The website is straightforward to use, and I particularly value the investment research and regular market commentary. There is plenty of information available, but it is generally presented in a way that an ordinary investor can understand. On the occasions I have contacted customer service, my questions have been dealt with politely and efficiently.
HL may not always be the least expensive platform, but for me, the service, research and ease of managing my accounts make the overall cost worthwhile.
