How we fight fake reviews and protect our community.

At Hivevote, trust is our most valuable asset. We have zero tolerance for fake reviews, review gating, or businesses trying to manipulate their HiveScore.

How we ensure authenticity

  • AI Sentiment & Spam Detection: Every review submitted to Hivevote passes through our AI engine. We detect patterns of spam, hate speech, and artificially generated content before it goes live.
  • No Pay-to-Play: Businesses cannot pay us to remove negative reviews. The only way a business can improve their rating is by providing better customer service.
  • Manual Moderation: If a review is flagged by our community or our AI, it is temporarily hidden while a human moderator reviews it against our guidelines.

For Businesses

We provide businesses with a fair platform to showcase their reputation. However, any business caught offering financial incentives in exchange for 5-star reviews will have a Consumer Warning placed permanently on their profile.

Report Suspicious Activity

If you spot a review that looks fake, or a company engaging in unfair practices, please report it to our moderation team immediately. We investigate every claim.
